12mm Wide Rings

12mm wide rings sit at the far end of our width range and are the widest band we make to order. At this scale the ring is made only in sterling silver and is manufactured to order in our workshop. The design is a polished, shallow D-shape, with the reduced curvature a direct result of the 12mm width. Because a ring this wide covers more of the finger than a standard band, careful sizing becomes more important.

About 12mm wide rings

Made to order

Each 12mm ring is made to order in our workshop and typically takes around three weeks to manufacture and complete hallmarking. The ring is produced from recycled sterling silver, the same material used across all of our silver wedding rings. For customers interested in other silver designs, our silver wedding rings collection includes additional styles in the same metal.

Profile and finish

The ring uses a D-shape profile with a polished finish. At 12mm the D-shape becomes noticeably shallower than on narrower bands, simply because the curvature must spread across a much wider surface.

Sizing at this width

At 12mm the band sits significantly wider on the finger than a conventional wedding ring. Because of this, many customers find that ordering a slightly larger size provides a more suitable fit. Before placing an order, we recommend reviewing our ring width guide to understand how wider bands affect sizing.

Engraving

We do not offer engraving on 12mm rings. At this width the engraving result would not meet the quality standard we require, so the ring is supplied without engraving.

Looking for more choice?

While 12mm rings create a strong visual presence, the selection of materials and styles becomes much smaller at this width. As bands become narrower, the number of available designs increases. If you are looking for wider rings but want more variety, you may wish to view our 10mm wide rings, 9mm wide rings, or 8mm wide rings, with 8mm offering the broadest selection of wide bands.
