5mm Wide Rings

5mm rings sit at a point where men’s and women’s sizing often meet. For many women it is one of the widest bands typically chosen, while for men it is among the slimmer options. That balance makes it a practical unisex wedding ring width.

At this width the bands come in zirconia ceramic, tungsten, tungsten carbide, cobalt, titanium, sterling silver and tantalum. Each material produces a different weight, colour tone and feel on the finger.

Profiles include court, classic court, blended court, flat profile and comfort fit shapes. Surfaces are either polished or brushed. Some bands also incorporate details such as patterned finishes, ridged sections, brushed centre contrasts or carbon fibre inlays.

Materials

Zirconia ceramic produces a black band with a clean, uniform surface. Some designs combine the dark colour with patterned finishes or brushed sections.

Tungsten and tungsten carbide are dense metals, giving the ring a noticeably heavier feel than most alternatives.

Cobalt has a naturally bright white tone.

Because titanium has a high strength-to-weight ratio, rings in this metal feel noticeably lighter on the hand.

Sterling silver remains a traditional precious metal option with a bright white appearance.

Ring profiles

Court and classic court profiles create a rounded outer shape, while blended court variations soften the transition between flat and curved surfaces. Flat profile bands produce straighter outer edges. Comfort fit interiors add a gentle curve to the inside of the band, allowing the ring to pass more easily over the knuckle. Design details

Some bands incorporate additional visual elements. Patterned surfaces, ridged detailing and brushed centre finishes introduce contrast across the metal surface. One design also combines tungsten with a carbon fibre inlay.
