Custom Engraving in Our Own Workshop
Every piece of engraving on a Titan Jewellery ring is done by us, in our own Kent workshop. It is something we have been doing for over 20 years, starting out with the old manual machines and moving through several generations of equipment as the technology improved. These days everything is engraved on our fibre laser, which is in use almost every day.
Doing the work ourselves means engraving is never sent out, never batched up with someone else's work, and never held up waiting on a third party. If you want a particular font, a symbol, a fingerprint, a soundwave, a line of handwriting, or something laid out around an existing pattern on the ring, the request comes straight to the person operating the laser. We can send proofs across before anything is marked, so you get to see exactly how it will look first.
Different metals behave in completely different ways under the laser, and after thousands of rings we have a good feel for what each one needs to come out well. Titanium, tungsten, tantalum, cobalt chrome, zirconium, Damascus steel, silver and gold all have their own quirks, and that is the kind of thing you only really learn by doing it day in, day out on the same machine.
The pages in this section cover the engraving options we offer as standard, inside the ring, outside the ring, patterns, and artwork, and you will find these on the relevant product pages when you are choosing a ring. What is listed on the site is only part of what we can actually do, though. If you have an idea you cannot see on the website, or something you have been told elsewhere is not possible, please get in touch before you give up on it. A quick email with a rough description, or a picture if you have one, is usually all we need to let you know whether it is something we can do for you.
