How to Use the Multisizer Tool
Step-by-step guide to using the multisizer tool for accurate ring sizing
Â
Getting Accurate Measurements
Basic Sizing Process
Thread the gauge like a belt. Push the pointed end through the buckle to form a ring.
Slide the multisizer onto your finger. Move it over the knuckle and down to the finger base.
Adjust for a comfortable fit. Pull to tighten or press the buckle to loosen.
Check knuckle clearance. It should pass over the knuckle with light resistance, not force.
Repeat and fine tune. Remove, adjust, and test again until the fit is consistent.
Read the size marking shown at the buckle edge.
Check at different times of day. Measure at normal hand temperature. Avoid measuring when fingers are cold or overheated.
What to Look For
Passes over the knuckle with slight resistance
Sits securely at the finger base without wobble
Can be removed without strain
Spins freely at the base means too loose
Difficult to remove means too tight
How Ring Width Affects Fit
Wider rings feel tighter than narrow rings at the same measured size because more metal contacts the skin.
Why this happens:
A 2mm ring contacts a small surface area
An 8mm ring contacts much more surface area
More contact creates more friction
Knuckle clearance stays the same for all widths
A narrow ring and a wide ring in the same size will not feel the same on the finger. The wider ring will feel tighter.

Using the Ring Size Calculator Tool
Ring width changes the real fit. Use the sizing calculator on this page to adjust your multisizer reading to the correct order size.
How to use the calculator:
Enter your measured multisizer size
Enter the multisizer band width printed on the tool
Enter your planned ring width
Choose standard or relaxed fit preference
The calculator returns the recommended order size for that width and fit choice.
